Who we are
Capital Finance Network is operated by Sentinel Holdings I LLC, 1613 Evans Ave #530, Cheyenne, WY 82001. For any privacy question, write to [email protected].
What we collect
- Information you submit. Business name, contact name, email address, telephone number, the facility type and amount you are interested in, and the free-text description you provide on our contact form.
- Client area information. If you create an account, your name, email address and a cryptographic hash of your password. We never store your password itself and cannot recover it.
- Technical information. IP address, request time and basic server log data generated when your browser requests a page.
We do not collect Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, tax identification numbers or financial statements through this website. If a facility proceeds, sensitive documents are exchanged with the relevant funder through that funder’s own secure channel, under its own privacy policy.
Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and discuss a potential finance requirement.
- To prepare and, with your agreement, introduce a finance file to third-party funders.
- To operate the client area, authenticate you and maintain your session.
- To keep security and abuse-prevention records, and to meet our record-keeping obligations.
Who we share it with
We share information with independent finance companies only when you have asked us to seek a facility on your behalf, and only with funders relevant to your requirement. Each funder is a separate controller of the information it receives and processes it under its own privacy policy and credit-reporting obligations.
We also use service providers for hosting and email delivery, who process information only on our instructions. We may disclose information where required by law, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing.
Credit inquiries
Submitting the contact form does not trigger a credit inquiry. A funder may perform a soft or hard credit inquiry as part of its own underwriting once you have applied to that funder directly and consented to it. Any inquiry is performed by the funder, not by us.
Cookies
This site sets a single session cookie, and only after you log in to the client area. It holds a session identifier, expires when you close the browser or log out, and exists purely to keep you signed in. We run no advertising cookies, no third-party analytics and no cross-site trackers. Fonts are requested from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address as part of that request.
Retention
Enquiry records are retained for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and to meet legal and record-keeping requirements, and are deleted or anonymised after that. Client area accounts persist until you ask us to delete them.
Your rights
You may ask us to confirm what information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it for a given purpose. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within the period required by applicable law. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights — including rights under state privacy statutes — and we honour those where they apply.
Security
Passwords are stored only as salted hashes. Access to enquiry records is limited to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify affected individuals and regulators as required if a breach occurs.
Children
This is a business-to-business service and is not directed to anyone under eighteen. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we change this policy materially, we will update the effective year at the top of this page. Related documents: Terms of Use and how we are paid.
